The Heights White Linen Night 2025: What To Wear!

Luckily, the name provides the dress code! Every August The Heights throws a White Linen Night block party where shops, bars/restaurants, and neighbors celebrate in style - wearing their favorite linens and white attire. Think breezy and light so you can stay cool on these hot August nights.

Most important tip for White Linen night?! Wear comfortable shoes! Doesn't matter if they're white sandals or sneakers - you're going to be walking, dancing, drinking/eating... and trust us when we say that walkability comfort matters big time on WLN! From parking to standing in lines to getting your groove on. The right shoe makes a difference!

Best places to grab a last minute WLN outfit?! We recommend stores that always have the classic white summer look available. Think Old Navy, Banana Republic, Tommy Bahama, Abercrombie, or Ann Taylor for well-known retailers. WLN is about supporting local! Many shops and boutiques on 19th street and throughout The Heights have tons of WLN looks available! For ladies, we recommend checking out Jubilee (325 W 19th Street). For the guys, Manready Mercantile.

Make it your own! Many Houstonians express their own styles and personalities on top of their WLN fit! Think bringing a scarf, wearing a linen shirt with a fun colorful print, grabbing a hat, or adding a pop of color with fun sunglasses!
