MFAH Walk & Talk - An Easy To Make Friends Event!

Join our social club for our monthly Easy To Make Friends event - this time for free admission at The MFAH! We'll be socializing and walking/talking in groups as we peruse the artwork. Get your steps in, make new friends, and take in the awesome artwork!

Free admission on Thursdays!
Walk begins promptly at 6:45pm - if you arrive later, we cannot guarantee you will easily be able to find & join our group around the museum!
How To Find Us:
We will meet right outside (or right inside - whatever is easiest for meeting up) at the MFAH main entrance (1001 Bissonnet St, Houston, TX 77005). You may also join our group WhatsApp for help connecting onsite and at future events! I will post our exact meeting spot and event updates on our Instagram page @hardtomakefriendsasanadult and in the comments section of this blog post as well as our Meetup event & Facebook page! Other Information:
Event with our group is 21+. Please walk at your own pace - comfortable shoes & attire recommended! MFAH offers free admission all day on Thursdays. Museum is open until 9pm. Sketchbooks permitted. Food/drinks available for purchase at the Cafe Leonelli - no outside food or drinks permitted! See full museum rules and more information here.
Parking Situation:
Paid garage parking available at the museum as well as paid lots nearby. Valet available down the street at Hotel Icon. Free street parking is usually available off Caroline & Binz street.
Additional Information:
Event is 21+ We are NOT associated with MFAH - we are simply "Meeting up" to walk the museum as a friend group! All attendees agree to our rules/terms and may be removed from the event for any reason. All attendees agree/consent to photography and videography by our club for promotional + marketing + sharing reasons. Please let us know if you wish to not be photographed.

Happy Museum Walk Night! Here’s how to find & connect with me when you arrive:
We will be meeting at the main ticketing area - which should be at this entrance at Main and Bissonnet (Turns into Binz!) I will be outside by this sheet construction set up!
I have on a floral navy blue outfit. Everyone who meets out front will be put into groups of 4-6 new friends to peruse the museum with.
I’ll be outside sorting everyone into groups from 6:30-645pm. You can tour the museum in your group (or solo!) as long as you wish.
From 7:30-8:30pm we will have an optional social at Bodegas Taco Shop for anyone who wants to drop in. I will…
