Let's Gogh Girls: Painting Tutorial

This is the image we have created that attendees can paint at our Fakelorette Party: Let's Gogh Girls event! This is a simple painting that requires little skill and only calls for 3 colors. Follow this step-by-step instruction to recreate the look!

Don't want to paint?! We have several coloring page options for coloring and you are also welcome to free draw/paint with your construction paper! Make today's art your own!

Step 1:

Get your construction paper and find supplies (Paint and brush bags) around table or ask your host Macey!

Find a space (Preferably in our area and with our plastic table coverings over it!) to work on your painting! You know this bar hates to see us coming with all this paint LOL

We are a social club first! Between steps, if you need a different color/brush, or while you wait for steps to dry - make sure to use this time to socialize & make new friends!

Step 2:

Using the black paint, draw an outline of the wine glass, lips, and lipstick! Lines don't have to be perfect - you can go back over them to make them thicker or better later!

We have pencils if you wish to hand draw first! You can also opt out of paint and draw this image.

Mess up?! No worries! Paint is forgiving and your lines don't need to be perfect.

Let outline dry.

Step 3:

Once dried (enough) - you can now use your red paint or maker to fill in the lips, wine glass, and lipstick!

Fill in as desired and let dry.

Step 4:

Use the gold paint to start filling in your wine glass and lipstick. Paint takes a few layers to "stick." You can also make your wine glass and lipstick bottle all black instead!

Step 5:

Add a few extra layers of gold as desired. Go back and thicken your outline black lines if you wish!
